Nicolas holds a Master's degree in Mathematics, Modelling and Simulation, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics, both from the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (thesis topic: High performance numerical simulation of coupled processes for CO2 storage in saline aquifers).
He joined CHLOE in November 2023 on a one-year postdoctoral contract before being hired on a permanent basis the following year.
His research focuses on modelling and geomechanical simulation of rocks in relation to gas injection into depleted reservoirs or saline aquifers.
